Had a great experience with Dr. Urbanek and his entire staff. I’d had jaw pain, ear pain and headaches for at least 5 years before I was referred me to Dr. Urbanek’s office. After only 2 months of wearing a non-surgical TMJ splint, these symptoms are gone! Recommend a consultation with Dr. Urbanek for anyone with these symptoms.

Before getting referred to Dr. Urbanek, I had 10+ years of pain. The pain would come from grinding my teeth which caused headaches, neck pain, and locking of my jaw. I had to stop eating some of my favorite foods, take medication, and could barely open my mouth to brush my teeth. After almost three months with a TMJ Splint I feel 95% better. My pain has decreased, I can open my mouth normally, and no longer grind my teeth at night. The TMJ Splint has really helped me gain my normal back with going through a surgical procedure.

After 5 months of constant ear and neck /jaw pain, my ENT sent me to Dr. Urbanek’s office for a consult. I was very skeptical due to other health issues such as rheumatoid arthritis and hearing loss. I had no idea about what TMJ is or it even exists. About 3 years back I started having symptoms like anxiety and I thought I had cancer. So I started consulting neurologist. I event got MRI done but no outcome. I also started having minor but continuous headaches and dizziness. I went to multiple doctors and ENT specialists but no clue. In April 2018, I read about Dr. Urbanek treating similar issues and in very first appointment he was sure that all of my problems are because of TMJ disorder. It was a relief to hear that someone actually know what’s going on with me. My story - I’m so thankful I found Dr. Urbanek I have had so many issue that I didn’t even know were related to TMJ .... from dizziness to fullness in my ears and headaches and ear pains... I have been miserable for years and taking lots of pain meds (about a bottle of excedrian a month or so ) I was frustrated and depressed and needing answers... thanks to Dr. Urbanek and his TMJ device I have been feeling so much better I don’t think I’ve had a headache since I started wearing my device... Over 20 years ago I had oral surgery and a year later my lower jaw bone grew and I began experiencing pain. I was taken off gum and caffeine which helped but did not totally alleviate the pain I was having in my jaw. After many years of continuing jaw and joint pain I stumbled across Dr. Urbanek and he changed my life. The mouthpiece he made for me is amazing. I had a hard time with my symptoms for years, but once they become worse in the last too years I had to find something for it. My jaw used to lock and pop causing a great deal of pain. Not to mention the headaches, and ear aches. I went to many doctors and they all told me it was nothing. But Dr. Urbanek was able to find the problem and help me out. Such a life-changing device! I have had TMJ Dysfunction since I was 11years old, for 21 years. I have debilitating migraines for two day at a time, at least two times a month. Over those years, I have had countless MRIs telling me there was nothing wrong. I have been to a neurologist who had me change my diet. I have been to several dental specialists, two of which gave me splints for the bottom row of teeth. I would end up spitting each of those out in my sleep rendering the splints useless. I feel that the splint has helped me with pain that I have been struggling with for years. I’m currently 20 years old and starting struggling with TMJ when I was around 15 or 16 years old. I definitely kept putting it off trying to get help with my symptoms but then it got to a point where it was unbearably painful and sleeping peacefully at night seemed impossible because of the pain. I really do recommend anyone struggling with any TMJ symptoms to definitely come see Dr. Urbanek.
